Improved
In the end I ended up using the intro of my previous video that didn’t work and used Premiere elements to add it at the start, I also added photos I took originally on the previous video and added it as my credits. Instead of me rapping in the video I recorded the audio separately and then added it in sync into my new video. We did this by changing the audio track and removing (un-syncing) the audio from the actual video. I also had video tracks played at the same time. For the credits I used text on Premiere elements (e.g. Uzique quick thing). To make it easier to put the audio in sync. I time stretched the video and by doing this I slowed it down (by 55%). I did this because otherwise the background music would of not been in sync with my mouth movement.
For my strengths I think I done well with the choice of colour effects (black and white) and being able to make it very clear what type of genre (UK rap/hip hop) the music was and what my target audience is (15+). Another way I thought it was clear what genre of music it was, is by with the black and white affect I stood infront of a dull brick wall to show its bleak, urban scenery. One last thing I believe I did well with was the planning. e.g. comparing artists to see what type of scenery I wanted.
However for my weaknesses I think I should have got someone else (Camera Operator) to record my latest video. This would have made it easier for me to jump into the music video so instead of having a camera operator I used a tri-pod. I also think I should have maybe chosen more camera angles (e.g. higher angles, Long Shots ) this would have made me look more intimidating, exciting and effective.
In an overall summary I am very pleased on how it turned out because it has the key feature to show it’s a rap music video… the pace on how I’m moving; the black and white colour effect, the scenery ( industrial brick wall) and the texts I used for the start and end credits.

Genre: rap and hip hop videos use:
-Types of shots: High angle, low
angle, long shots and panning. These are used to help set the environment and
the feel of the need of the video it also helps you focus on the story in the
video.
-Locations: Dark gloomy,
industrial, isolated, broken down. These help give you a better understanding
on the artist’s feelings and maybe what he has come from or help explain his
past.
Mood/Environment: Angry/sad facial
expressions, violent or upsetting environment. This gains you a better
understanding on what the song is about or the artist
personality/characteristics.
And overall effect: Black and
white, sepia, faded colour. With these affects it helps you engage on the meaning
of the song and make it more interesting to watch and listen.
What I changed from my first video
When I re-filmed my music video I thought I would make some
changes… record audio separately, add more lyrics and change the scenery.
